Leather Desk Lamp, model A704, made by Valaistustyö, Finland 1950s

Designed in 1954, the A704 lamp has a black enamelled metal shade with double-layer white enamelled metal diffuser, on an angled stem and V-shaped base covered in black leather. The lamp was produced in very limited quantities during the mid-1950s. A brass clip inside the interior of the shade is impressed with the manufacturer’s mark: Valaistustyö.

40cm high, 40cm deep, 35cm wide.
