This is a vintage early example of the small monkey, designed by Kay Bojesen in 1951.
Constructed from teak and limba wood, the joints are articulated allowing the monkey to be placed in different positions or suspended.
The underside of one foot bears the maker’s stamp: KAY BOJESEN / DENMARK / COPYRIGHT
25cm high when fully extended with arms raised (19cm high with arms down by sides), 20cm max wide, 7cm deep.
Condition very good.
