Charles and Ray Eames original LCW (Lounge Chair Wood) in ash plywood.

Designed circa 1946 this example has the early 5-2-5 screw configuration employed by the first manufacturer, Evans Plywood and the label dates it as a 4th edition produced in 1948, prior to Herman Miller.

All original shockmounts including the single lozenge to the backrest. All original hardware.

Condition very good for age and use. Minor wear, some nibbles to the top of back rest and small split to top of back splat – visible in images.
