Provenance:
Formerly in the private collection of Guy Brunache, a Parisian architect in the 1950s who collaborated on projects with the modernist architects Georges Candilis, Alexis Josic and Shadrach Woods. Brunache was a regular client of the Steph Simon gallery in the 1960s, which was a major retailer of Jouve’s ceramics, shown alongside furniture by Jean ProuvĂ© and Charlotte Perriand.
