bearing E. Kold Christensen stamp

Designed in 1957, the PK 80 stands out as one of Kjaerholm’s most refined creations from the mid-20th Century period. Its bold proportions, refined use of materials and joinery, and the striking elegance of the welted leather mattress make it an iconic piece—widely regarded as one of his masterpieces. The design of the PK 80 reflects Kjaerholm’s approach of reinterpreting historical forms through the lens of the materials he employed. By eliminating the bolster and distilling the piece to its essential elements, he brought clarity to both its proportions and the structural function of each material.

In very good original condition, this early original example of mid-century design is ready to use.
