This iconic chair was designed by George Nakashima in the 1940s for his daughter Mira to use at the dinner table. The design became widely successful and continues to be manufactured today by his company under Mira’s guidance. This set of four chairs was commissioned in 1963 and a digital copy of the original order card accompanies them.
