Gino Sarfatti, Floor Lamp, model 1045 for his own Arteluce lighting company, Italy.

Designed in 1948, this example is likely to have been one of the first production run, as it has a brass upper stem (later versions were chrome plated) and open brass foot. The lamp has an adjustable height range between 100cm and 160cm, through a simple hook mechanism, the upper arm section is connected via a pivoting knuckle meaning the shade can be tilted back and forward as shown. Shade of enamelled aluminium in original yellow finish, with remnants of Arteluce label to interior.

Lamp looks to be in very nice original untouched condition with age related patina and some paint loss to the shade.
