The Fantasma, designed by Italian architect Tobia Scarpa and introduced by Flos in 1961, is an iconic example of minimalist Italian lighting design.
Named after the Italian word for “ghost,” the lamp is characterised by its ethereal silhouette and sculptural presence. Its cocoon-like resin shade gently diffuses light, producing a soft, ambient illumination while concealing the internal structure.
